When you put it that way, it would be a bit embarassing.

As long as sluts and jerks sleep around, Maury will have a show.

Emergency Broadcast System my aunt’s fanny….They didn’t even use it on 9/11!….If not then when? Who runs it? Who activates it? What the hell is it for if not days like 9/11…?

Nuclear attack. And they expect more warning time than we had with 9/11.

Nice slut shaming there. roll eyes

Better to say, “As long as idiots don’t use protection when having sex, Maury will have a show.”

Let’s see if Lemont catches the grammar error. The guy on t.v. said “…say..” and then asked a question. I hate that.

What would you have them use it for?
What could they have broadcast which would have saved folks?
    Think, don’t t just transmit.

    They DID say words.
Admittedly those words were used to ask a question but the statement/question was not said/asked to get information, rather to call attention to those receiving it exactly how silly the entire practice was.

You have to admit its pretty shameful and ridiculous to come on tv to find out if the person you were sleeping with is the father of your child. Especially when its numerous people smh

What would have been the point of using it on 9/11? At the time of the incidents, they had no intel to share. Once the towers were hit, anyone who had a TV or radio knew what was happening. EBS is more for local emergencies, such as flash floods and tornadoes.

My TV is always set to Maury’s channel because it is also the favorite LA channel for local news. When I turn on the TV in the middle of the day to see what’s on the DVR, I mute Maury, Jerry, Bill, and Steve. BTW, I remember when Maury was a respected local anchor, as was his wife. Long gone.

Points well taken on the 911 statements about emergency broadcasts. I guess it really wouldn’t have been much help…..But has it ever been used? Ever?
