Scary and painful tho it is, giving birth is the easiest part of the hardest job in the world. I gotta believe that most parents only THINK they know what they’re getting into.

I’ve seen it happen…It’s like The Invasion of the Body Snatchers…All of a sudden everything revolves around the kid…

Why must all women become mothers? Some of us just aren’t that into it.

I will definitely use that line when people are offended I don’t want kids. The word “ovaries” might scare them away.

I don’t think anyone should have kids who doesn’t truly want them. Too many people are parents who shouldn’t be. I love being a mom, I’ll admit that I’m sometimes jealous of my cousin who gets to travel whenever she wants.

@Anarresa: nah jut say you cant have one and run away crying. Then they feel bad ;b Its interesting, no one out West cared that I was childless, but now that I am in the Midwest, they look at you like its a crime. LOL. And shygirl, That is sooo true! :) I know a lot of happy awesome parents that bless the world with their skills, but I also know a lot of people I look at and think ’why?"There are many reasons why hubby and I choose not to have kids but it was the right choice for us. We adopted critters instead :)

The bigger question is……does she not want to have kids herself or she doesn’t want children in her life at all?
This could be the end of something that never began.

My wife had worked in daycare before and after we had married. She was very good at her job and the children left in her care loved her. However, with the birth of our daughter, all of her knowledge and skill went out the window. It is amazing how the responsibility of raising your own child can overwelm you and humble you at the same time.
As for me, small children have always scared me. They are so tough but so fragile at the same time.
When our daughter was born, the fear was cast aside, and the responsibility caused me to be the father that god had called me to be for that sweet little girl.
To be a parent is a step towards maturity. I personally do not consider a male a man until he has proven himself a man by becoming a responsible husband and father. Until, one faces those responsibilities, they are just a child in an adult body.

There are many reasons as to why some people have (or don’t want to have children) one I think it is the preservation of the species and I respect the right (or wrong of not wanting any) Nature will make that last call for it is nature the one who will build or terminate humankind whether we like it or not, Man didn’t have a say when we were simmering inside the boiling “Soup of Life” from whence we came from and just as much we would not have a say as when will be the last day we boil to a dry speck of ashes! So that said, Just enjoy life one day a t a time and I’ll see you in “Paradise” or “Hell” whichever we are destined to go to (You are welcome!)

Often they are still a child in an adults body afterwards and the kids suffer. Some people should not have kids and I think your thoughts are some what insulting to those who decide not to increase an already over crowed planet.
