Besides, NOW it IS Christmas. There are 12 days of Christmas which ends on January 6 with Epiphany. Before Christmas, it’s Advent.
Well, at least for those who follow the church year.
By the way, I love having 12 days of Christmas because that still gives me time to get the cards out.

In one of those articles about the different items, it was pointed out that originally it was four colly birds. If the article said, I certainly no longer remember what a colly bird is/was. But I guess that’s what they make google for….
