I’m not sure if it’s God, but a voice comes to me in the night and says, “You really should get up and pee.”
And God help me if I don’t obey.

It is Poseidon, in his rôle as God of Rivers, Streams, and Floods.

That’s not God, that is your enlarged prostate.

Clyde stands by his values – you have to respect that!

He’s as bright as Lemont is, too – just follows his own path.

That’s how I’ve always seen him. I saw a panel discussion once where Darrin Bell said Clyde’s a rorschach test: depending on what you bring to it, you either see him as the the world’s dumbest person, or the world’s most sarcastic person. I’ve always seen him as the latter (which is how he said he’s written).

@rvernon
So what you’re saying is he’s Lemont, only he’s doing it better.

I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe that explains why they’re friends? Flip sides of the same coin.
