    Yeah, but it’s kinda

    fun

using rudimentary markup to do all this stuff.

    Um…. isn’t it?

Ah, we have trod the same path, Grasshopper!
And came to the same conclusion and realisation.
@susan: yeah, but I am still getting over being happy at being able to do paragraphs here.

Only happy if it’s NOT six more weeks of winter.

Winter? What winter? There has been no winter around here.

It’s as much fun as making every single meal from absolute scratch, down to grinding your own flour and spices! Once in a while is okay… but the tedium of the time-consuming task soon gives way to the convenience of pre-packed!

I, for one, would really appreciate some pre-packed text-formatting on Gocomics!

    G’morning Lovecraft!

    Okay, okay then… just

    HAPPY DAY EVERYBODY

    — but well… anyway… just between you and me

I’m an admitted Techno-Moron and had just barely figured out (some of) the tricks on this site before the update

I can embed a link most of the times I try now, that’s about the extent of my bag of tricks now

That’s so old hat Lamont…..at least six whole months. Time moves on as always. But psychic time, that’s another thing.

I am trying to get a job that requires I learn HTML, arrgghh! The funny thing is most wedding photographers use flash on their websites for showing photos but iPads (which is what the young people all go to) won’t use flash but rather HTML!

I was on the cutting edge in 1999 when I got a job at the State of Michigan as a web designer, but I was irrelevant by 2004 and lost my job. I went to grad school and earned a MS in Geographic Information Science, so now I work as a geospatial analyst and cartographer.

Looks more like XML to me than HTML, even with the top-level elements!

My sister works with and co-authors cross-platform language, also known as XML. Eventually that may become the norm, but I am nowhere near ready to use even HTML!
