The idiot and evil psycho pseudo psychiatrist must still be in cahoots with Roxanne.
He doesn’t have a PhD; today, he has an M.A. Back in October, he had a PWD. So, he is NOT a psychiatrist.

And of course, there’s no way the shrink could have gotten his MA before he got his PhD nor his PWD. People just never go from one advanced degree to the ensuing one, and post all of the diplomas on their walls. I think my family doctor only has something like 6 diplomas and 12 or 13 certifications on the walls of his office.

Back in the summer of 1963, I met a man at college seminar who was working on a PhD. I met him in Tulsa but he was going to Kansas University.
He did not have an master’s degree although he had a bachelors.
He had to take what one would call “masters leveling courses” in his chosen area of study while working on the PhD.
When I did graduate work in theology, I already had a Master of Education; but, I didn’t have any theology courses on my college transcripts.
I was required to take 18 semester credit hours at the undergraduate level to make up for the requirement for entrance into the degee program. Those classes were called “leveling courses.”

What the heck is a ‘PWD?’

ottod: In Noodle’s case, “Pompous While Dumb.”
As for the strip, I think Noodle’s been ordered to check on Lemont to make sure he was still clueless. Looks like the report will be “Yes.”
