Nobody should be upset that the NFL is protesting police brutality. Sometimes it isn’t racism so much as just they get overbearing with their power. BUT it is not that often. For all those time that make the news, there are thousands upon thousands more that risk life everyday to serve and protect us. -I find it amusing that the liberal left wants to protest against the police yet wants to take everybody’s guns away so they cannot protect themselves. This country was founded on everybody having a weapon to defend themselves against not only bad people but against the oppressive rule of the gov’t at that time (British). - But I digress. Back to our multimillionaire NFL people who decided to protest. Fine but the issue is the venue they chose to protest through, the National Anthem. You DO NOT Disrespect the National Anthem, Flag, or Constitution. You can complain all you want about whoever is the president at the time. But know that when Pres. Nixon was under pressure, the military was briefed that they do NOT follow the President but the Constitution. If our NFL folks had picked almost any other venue to protest there would not have been the uproar. WAIT, thats what they wanted, attention. And they go it by spitting on this country. - Part of the problem is the whiners and kneelers have for the most part never done anything for this country, only themselves. Several football players have served in the military but how many are kneeling? The Greatest Generation fought and sacrificed in WWII, Following generations fought in N Korea, Viet Nam, and continue to fight around the world. But so few of our people have ever either served or been a part of the immediate family of a military member that most simply do not understand what it means to serve this country and sacrifice for it. For many it may not mean the sacrifice of their lives but in other ways such as not being home when their child is born.
