Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Oddly enough, that’s the same mood which got me Latin honors in college.

What’s the point of doing something for months when you can finish it in a night?

Youi’d think a kid old enough to be assigned a school assignment would be told old to play in a sandbox.

Got through University twice with last minute panic as the prime motivator.
.
That and a devout fear of failure …

Here’s a great idea for a story:
A kid has no idea for a story.

Yeah, kinda “meta”, isn’t it? :)
So far, everyone here seems to be a P-type personality, including Calvin (and no, it doesn’t stand for “Procrastination”, even though that joke goes around). So am I, but I learned long ago that I can’t do things well at the very last minute. So I always give myself enough slack to do a good job fairly well in advance, and save the last-minute panic for last-minute tweaking. :)

A fast approaching deadline does seem to stimulate the creative juices.

I did that once, the teacher gave me a D, and said that she gets that kind of paper all the time.
