Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

It’s realy hard to stand so much bliss!

Besides being bliss, Ignorance apparently is also hazardous!

To your avatar: When my father was very ill my cousin painted such a picture of his faith, just in four different colours, similar your avatar. One day, before my father died, the picture fell from the wall and I don’t know why, until today. The nail stuck in the wall and the hook was solid in the wall!

I ment, the hook was solid in the picture!

I love Calvin. He can rationalize a concussion into and excuse to continue “living on the edge” and defying the laws of physics. Go Calvin! Take a beating, keep repeating"!

As a nurse, I ‘ve had the same experience. Do you ever get the ones who tell you that what you’re doing isn’t right because it isn’t how they do it on the TV dramas?

Calvin’s spot on today. Atheists are probably people who were deeply religious before they went to college, then they come out, at the very least, an agnostics. Nothing is more infuriating than to learn all the teachings of childhood was hogwash.

Calvin would be safer with a helmet and a motocross bike.

@Tog and @Goldenroya I sympathize with your plight, I’m hoping to get admission into a college LPN program. The nosy questions of “why aren’t you in medical school” will go nicely with “why aren’t you married.”
But back to the cartoon: Ignorance is bliss, but knowledge is power. If Calvin wants to be Dictator For Life, he’d better hit the books!

Tell them that nursing is a vocation and that your duty of care is as important to you as it is to your prospective patients.

@gmartin997;
Nice hypothesis, but not even close in my case. Perhaps you try to fit us into too narrow a box.

Truely, a tale (and a tail) for our times. Please, let’s not learn anything from the events of the last decade…

Calvin has his head in the sand. That’s the way to remain ignorant!
