   OK - this is what Calvin now need to do.

   Using B72 adhesive to fit together fragments.B72 is reversible when used on bones coated in B72 acetone.

   I don’t think this is going to happen!

    Calvin so reminds me of my childhood!
    I remember I had gone a similar excavating spree in our backyard… and dug and dug and dug…. till we found a spoon. Then we were hypothesizing (didn’t know this word then, though) that the spoon could belong to a lost civilization that lay below my backyard ground - ready to be unearthed.

    And my Mom was just like Calvin’s- when I told her excitedly about my ‘discovery’ she said that backyard was surely dug up when the building was built so there aint no buried civilization there! I hope that doesnt happen to calvin.

    It’s kind of sad that todays kids would probaby dig bones via their computer or TV.

    So Calvin wants to glue the “bones” together to see the dino they have found. He should just go the art museum instead and he will see what he’s found. I went to the art museum a couple of weeks ago and in the contemporary section I saw several pieces that looked like what Calvin will end up with - some garbage stuck together and put on the wall. Even my 20 year old daughter stated this “art” didn’t do anything for her.

    Oh well, have fun with your dino bones, Calvin. Can’t wait to see Mom’s reaction when you drag them into the house.

    Calvin made a mess out of the airplane because he had to follow someone elses directions for putting it together, here he has only his own imagination to put together his found creature and it just might look good enough to get Hobbes a babe and a smooch - better than what mom will give Calvin for dragging that ‘junk’ into her clean kitchen.

    I’ve always found it hilarious that Hobbes is so much more emotionally mature / developmentally advanced than Calvin. Hobbes is ready to begin collecting smooches. For Calvin, girls are gross and slimy, suitable only as targets for snowballs.
