Yes it is “cruel and mean-spirited.” But, when did that ever stop a Lib?

Pup, have you EVER listened to Limbaugh, O’Reilly , Beck, Hannity? Oh right, they are the ones being “picked on” with their wet tissue thin skins.

They are ever the victims.

That’s just what I’d expect from a jackass.

Red, you’re missing the joke. This cartoon is funny because the donkey is stealing the elephant’s line.

trout–you ever listen to Olbermann, Matthews? Talk of mean-spirited. Tell us why Biden escapes his dumb remarks without any scrutiny by CNN, MSNBC, abc, cbs, nbc.

Y’know, there’s a very good case for not listening to any of them. Written word is much more likely to be well-thought out and has a habit of being easy to review after the initial reading. I recommend it.

I have listened to liberal media long enough to know that some of these guys make Rush Limbaugh look like a pantywaist when it comes to being cruel and mean-spirited. And I get tired of listening to Rush after a pretty short time as it is.
Liberals have perfected the game of personal destruction politics. Sanford made foolish decisions and they are now going after him for it. Consequences of foolish actions.
Sarah Palin decided to run for VP. She was virtually unknown before then. However, once she started running with McCain, the liberal left has been on a relentless crusade to find anything they can to hang her on, and even six months after the election is over they are still at it.
They couldn’t find enough dirt on her during the campaign so they shamelessly attacked her family, demonstrating that there is no place too low for them to stoop.
So when they hypocritically scream “personal destruction politics”…they should know. Its their specialty.

dshepard, what you have shown in this post is that we all have a filter that biases how we see the same things. You and others see the liberal as the epitome of personal destruction politics whereas I’d guess that Senor and others see the conservative/neocon as that. We’re all looking at the same people and hearing the same words, but we process them very differently. Maybe it’s time to back off and lower the temperature. That’s why I prefer the written word…it lowers the emotional impact of what is said.

fennec,
While I agree with your comments on viewpoint there is a problem with print. The anonymity of the board and the lack of personal contact often makes it easier to say things in a way that you would not use in person, especially in public.

This is true, Gladius, when one is referring to online postings. However, I was referring to print media (eg., newspapers) in which an editor is involved as opposed to the shoot-from-the-lip of TV commentators as a source of information and opinion.
