For the (admittedly very small) minority of monsters under the bed who do not like chocolate there is this.

    ORANGEADE

    1 cup lemonade juice
    1 cup orange juice
    4 tablespoons white sugar
1 large bottle ginger ale (3 1/2 cups)
1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
    Chopped ice

Combine fruit juices with sugar; stir until dissolved.
    Add ginger ale, lemon rind.
Pour over chopped ice into tall glasses.
    Serves 6.

As usual, colour improves the strip. (A fair bit today.)

Monsters or no, I now want a double-chocolate malt (hold the whipped cream and cherry)!

If I were a monster, I’d want to gnaw on a pork chop.

I wasn’t prone to monsters under the bed or in the closet, but I do remember one time I ran into my parents’ bedroom because I thought I had seen a skeleton.
