I’m sure everyone’s jokes are cute, but will someone please just tell me what this cartoon is about?

I’m with you – I love that movie too. Makes me smile to think about it. Holly Golightly is such a great name.

And a pet bird feels most safe in her cage (wild birds in their nest). As a bird-person, I can identify with that.

I used to have a free-range parakeet, would fly around the house (usually perched on the curtains) when not in his cage. Of course at night he would be in his cage or when he was eating. At Christmas time, he would never go near the tree, even if it wasn’t lit (or even decorated yet). Probably didn’t know what to make of it!

Susan, me too. I love that movie, I adore Audrey Hepburn. She was simply divine. The epitome of grace and kindness. I could go on…
I read her biography written by her son, it’s been a long time ago, but some things still stand out in my memory. I get misty just thinking about it.
And since Cary Grant is one of my favorite male stars, Charade is also at the top of my all time favorites. It’s regrettable that they only made one film together, but that just makes it that much more precious.
(Gee, it seems I did go on… )
