Looks like the bottom speech balloon pointer is aimed at the wrong character – shouldn’t it be ‘the joker’ apologizing to the bee for his insensitive comment?
U of Nebraskans were originally called the Bugeaters (so Cornhuskers was a step up). UC Irvine has the anteater and UMKC has ‘Kasey’ the Kangaroo — but Evergreen State’s mascot is the geoduck — try picturing that on a sweatshirt or chanting — "Gooey, gooey, geoducks!!

The problem is no one refers to the Jayhawk as a big headed joker. I’m a KU alum and in 20+ years I’ve never heard that insult.
