You know, if he had a swan on his lap, it would be sing his swan song about now….Don’t mess with those guys. for years, I saw one swan and his mate keep every other swan off this lake. They’d have a couple of kids and then send them on their way, and don’t come back. Lots of swans tried to get on the lake. (There are at least twenty over on Maple Lake right now.) Dude was freaky, though. Instead of flying after them, he would lower his head and neck and swim (much faster than you can imagine) towards the intruders even if they were on the other side of the lake… As he got closer, they would just fly off. He just spooked ’em…
