Well, today could be my lucky day.

I’ve been trying to get past level 21 on Angry Birds for 72 days now.

    Johnny… You went north again….
After yesterday’s eye I thought you were doing a piece by piece portrait.

And No. 6 (or whoever will explain…) the other day I saw instructions posted on another strip for that red lettering,
but it said to use H2 etc which AFAIK only change the size and case.

    What tag changes the color?
The Old Wolf’s page doesn’t say, and the color tags I’ve tried don’t work here.

    @SusanSunshine

I use the small h2 in the brackets on either side of the word or phrase you wish to embarrass (make red). Be aware, it messes up the sentence structure. The red word comes out on a new line, unless there’s another trick I don’t know about (highly likely).

hmmmm … thanks Dogsniff…. but when I try that I think it only comes out

    big

    so we’ll see….

    Or how about this:

    test

    ?

no red….. (sniffle)….. what am I doing wrong?

I tried it with and without a slash in the last bracket to close the attribute.

If you use bold with h2 you get red but a smaller font size.

    You type: <h2>*Hi Susan*</h2>
    We see:

    Hi Susan

You can also use the h5 heading style
    You type: <h5>Hi Susan</h5>
    We see:

    Hi Susan

Please, everyone, remember to use the closing tag for the HTML tag pair.
    <tag> text</tag>

    Ok…. thanks x_tech..

    Will try:

    control

    test with bold

    test with h5 no bold
    test with h5 bold

    Wow it worked!

Dunno why bold makes some header text red..

Then again, I know very little about HTML.

Nor do I know how you make your examples post in a text font including mark-up, X_tech.

    But thanks again.

BTW I do always close my tags. I only tried leaving one open to see whether that made red text.

And sorry to anybody bored with this stuff, but sometimes I just gotta know!

    OK, g’night all!

    @SusanSunshine

It’s the way they define the heading style in the gocomics cascading style sheet (css). The style sheet allows them to change the color, font size, and padding (the white space around the heading) in only one document and have it cascaded through the entire site. Very handy.

The comment about closing tags wasn’t directed at you. There are others, who shall remain un-named, not so meticulous about their coding. But you may have noticed that you can not delete that comment that didn’t have the closing tag.
