On the other side of his head. All horses and donkeys are like that. They can’t see what’s directly in front of them, which is what made blinders so cruel. And why show-jumpers and steeplechase horses are so “temperamental.” It’s tough jumping over an obstacle that disappears from your vision the moment you get close enough to leap.
