    What’s even worse, there’s no can opener included.

    Most dogs I know love cat food.

    You are right about dogs loving cat food…but like another said, is he sad because of the cans or that it is cat food…ahhhh, a real conundrum…..

    Cat food is way too high in calories for dogs. Makes a dog REAL FAT REAL FAST. If poor old Rover there can get the cans open, at least he won’t starve for a long time.

    I’ve never seen a dog turn down anything that resembled food (my dog, however, agreed that my mom’s salmon pie was not fit for consumption).

    Regardless of having a can opener or if the cans have pop top lids, he still doesn’t have the required opposable thumb to handle either.

    @margueritem

    My thoughts exactly! My dog would wolf that down in no time. I think he likes cat food even better than his own food. Lol.

    This would not be a problem for any dog I ever had. However, if this were a cat on the island, and a case of dog food, the poor kitty would starve to death.

    Tastefully yours,

    you’re not leaving the island ’til your plate is clean mister! there are dogs on social security that would kill for that food!

    You bring up a good point. If Phydeaux is a discriminating eater, he will turn up his snout at cat food that is not made with only the finest imported Persian pedigreed cat, house-raised, lab-mouse fed, specially selected and packed in pure spring water.
    .
    If, however, Fido is a non-discriminating garbage eater, Road-Kill Kitty is good enough for him. It’s made with diseased alley cats, free-range, fed on kitchen waste and rats (and the occasional kitten). It’s a little tough and gamy, but more natural, and processing kills the parasitic worms.
