I would have thought Dit and Dah.

“Dot” and “dash” are the names of characters used to print Morse code, but the names used by Morse operators for the pulses they represent are “dit” and “dah”. That is because, when spoken, “dah” has three times the length of “dit”. The Morse family would have used those names, not Dot and Dash.

You left out ‘dih’ which was used in the beginning or middle of a character and ‘dit’ at the end.
Which gives us, to the tune of Camptown Races,
Old Sam Mo-orse named his kids
Dih dah, dih dah….
