Why not go all the way biblical and sentence them to death?

Don’t forget that in the Bible the order is to kill children that disrespect their parents. Stoning I think is the preferred method of extermination. (You can always produce more.)

That was under the law of the Old Testament. The Pilgrims and Puritans, being Christian, were under the New Testament. Of course if the child was young enough, you could kill them Viking style, tossing them in the air and skewering them on a sword as they came down. And of course there’s the good old Norse “Bloody Eagle,” where you chop open their ribs, pull out their lungs, and drape them over their back.

The age should be 11. And jailing isn’t the answer. Sentence them to community service.

The Old Testament law is STILL in effect. Think, The Ten Commandments.

The Colony of Massachussetts also had a law allowing persons crossing into the colony from the south (Rhode Island) to be shot on sight.
It was still on the books until sometime in the last few decades when an enterprising lawyer used the law as defense in a murder trial.
