This was before Star Wars was re-booted.
Perhaps this is what George Lucas read before he re-named the original movie?

No, the original was ALWAYS “A New Hope”. If you watch the beginning of the movie, the scrolling says something like “Episode IV: A New Hope”. Everyone simply CALLED it just “Star Wars”.

The very first time Star Wars came out in 1977 it simply said “Star Wars”. There was no “New Hope” or episode number on the beginning of the crawl that I remember. On the re-release it did have that added.

Everyone was confused when they read “Episode V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK” and at 11 years old, I thought “whaaa? Are they even going to bother going back to do #1, 2, and 3 then?

Yup. The answer was sure not worth the wait.

Also, where’s the nudity? Those girls in the sports car have been digitally altered to have clothes on. Bloody inhibited Palin Republicans.

… hmm. I think I remember one, and we did see it on opening night. Front row. Center.

It got us all excited that there would be more to come, as I recall.

Did Berke do his own lettering back in those days?

How amusing. Usually it’s the reverse, as in , “Your welcome” which leads me to reply, "My welcome, what?

Also, you missed “you’re acting ‘irresponsible’”.

Should be the adjective “irresponsibly”, modifying the verb “acting”.

Go ahead, call me a “grammar nazi” too, but is it any wonder message boards, forums and the like are a festering cesspool of illiteracy, and this, among people whose first language is ostensibly English?!?

I’ve met those whose SECOND language is English and their use of it far exceeds those of the former. We should be collectively ashamed of ourselves (but, thankfully, those who post in these comment sections have a superior mastery, no issue here, bless you).

Please consult a dictionary. This is from Dictionary.com, and Miriam-Webster gives a similar alternate definition:
    -
nazi: Sometimes Offensive. ( often lowercase ) a person who is fanatically dedicated to or seeks to control a specified activity, practice, etc.: a jazz nazi who disdains other forms of music; tobacco nazis trying to ban smoking.
    -
Note that if used this way, it is correct when not capitalized. The capitalization does mean the German National Socialists responsible for the Holocaust.
    -
    Interesting, huh?
