Harry Bliss wrote a book about a kid running around in the city. When they find Luke (the kids name), the Dad give him a child harness or something-or-other. The Dad with the kid in a harness looks a lot like the Dad that Lukes father was talking to at the end. Luke was on the harness, so the Dad (not Luke’s) must have been inspired. But HEY, that’s just a theory. A COMIC theory!
