I know that feeling…
when the words that tumble out somehow don’t match the grace and eloquence I imagined.

Me too.
Only, what I wanted to say was much more eloquent than “me too.”

Evidently, he’s a German Shepherd, but still has to mentally translate everything he says?

Thanks! As I say – it always amazes me how much I learn from the comics – not that I will ever use this – but, you never know.

Interesting how pets learn the language of their companions. My friend, Cuddles cockatoo was very responsive to people and wanted to be center of attention. I tried to prepare her for our trip to Puerto Rico, but she did not realize when folks were talking about her (not knowing pajaro or other words in Spanish discribing her). One thing was the same in any language-applause!

I like the fonts used to convey the difference in the language.

I would like this comic on a T-shirt.
It reminds me that what I think is not what actually happens.

In an “oddity” the other day, found a scared, and snarling, Chihuahua, was calmed right down by Vietnamese. Have no idea where this stray came from, but it worked!

Sometimes things sound pretty good in your head, but when they fall out of your mouth, you realize it’s not so hot.
