    I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kingston so enthusiastic about anything. My contribution to the Bake Sale:

    AUDREY SWIFTER’S PI PIES
    We have an enormous selection (see menu); the house specialty is pumpkin pie

    (plus all the usual stuff for Da Tribe)

    Thus proving Einstein wrong; in fact, “pie are round.”

    Good Morning TRIBE! Coffee for me Alain, Thank You. We will have to wait to see the rest of the selection from the Bake Sale and chose. In the mean time, a slice of Alain’s pie sounds good!

    I used to eat pop tarts in my younger days. But these days it’s all too sweet for these taste buds,

    Good Morning, Tribe

    Of course we have marion berry. We have rain berry from Tiaera, why shouldn’t we have marion berry from Earth? ;)

    100% Kona coffee beans from Hawaii. Fresh-ground in a Krupp grinder ordered from Starbucks (once I figured out how to get it working). With Starbucks Mocha Powder and coconut milk. So smooth yet so rich, Colombian coffee (which I’ve tried and much appreciate) should hide its head in shame.

    My fictional AHDCM in theory can wake a sleeping sauropod at an eighth of a mile. This real-world version might well do the same thing. Just made it this morning – I still have to tweak the strength, it kicks back too hard after the initial boost.

    Good Afternoon Alain – In go along (sort of) with today’s strip I used one of the globe greetings I made. This one is madre from a piece of German chocolate cake.

    Can I have a pop tart (preferably toasted by Pete) and a Hostess Twinkie (before they are no more)?

    @bmonk

    Our Hostess delivery this week was missing Hostess pies. The driver said that the bakers who make the pies are on strike.

    He also said the workers will put the company out of business rather than accept any more benefit cuts.

    I didn’t know what to say except that I am glad to have a job!

    @Top Cat

    It’s official, as far as I know: Hostess is shutting down, so the workers get no benefits. Seems like a draconian way to insist on your rights.

    I will not miss Hostess. I’m sure all the junk food junkies will find something like that garbage to bulk up on.
