    I remember when Nick at Nite started showing reruns of shows I watched when they originally aired that made me feel old too.

    Nickelodeon runs shows from the 1990’s at night. Oldies in their way.

    You’re right! I’m surprised he didn’t have to use a calculator. Let’s see….1988 – 25= 1963

    I understand his feelings – I was thrown for a loop when earlier this year I heard Def Leppard on the oldies station that was playing Elvis & Buddy Holly back in the late ’80s.

    The Beatles are oldies!?

    Yes…their songs and themselves, at least those who have survived. (R.I.P. John, George and Stu)

    And, for the record, the song Nate is referring to is titled “You’re Sixteen,” but The Beatles never recorded it as a group. Ringo Starr did, however.

    @JPuzzle Whiz

    I just looked it up, the song that Nate mentions is by Billy Ocean. I never heard of it. I have heard of Billy Ocean, in name only , but , fortunately, I cannot name one song that he recorded

    You know you’re getting old when the music your mom and dad wouldn’t let you listen to is now being played in the ELEVATORS.

    I almost thought Ellen was Nate’s Mom. Wow.

    Yes, Ellen does look more grown up than the last time we saw her. It has been awhile though. Maybe my memory is playing it’s usual tricks.
