    I remember when Nick at Nite started showing reruns of shows I watched when they originally aired that made me feel old too.

    You’re right! I’m surprised he didn’t have to use a calculator. Let’s see….1988 – 25= 1963

    I understand his feelings – I was thrown for a loop when earlier this year I heard Def Leppard on the oldies station that was playing Elvis & Buddy Holly back in the late ’80s.

    I just looked it up, the song that Nate mentions is by Billy Ocean. I never heard of it. I have heard of Billy Ocean, in name only , but , fortunately, I cannot name one song that he recorded

    You know you’re getting old when the music your mom and dad wouldn’t let you listen to is now being played in the ELEVATORS.

    I almost thought Ellen was Nate’s Mom. Wow.

    @Itchy & Scratchy

    Yes, Ellen does look more grown up than the last time we saw her. It has been awhile though. Maybe my memory is playing it’s usual tricks.

    Good music is timeless. What freaks us out is becoming old. Frankly it sucks. Time to listen to some Led Zeppelin. lol Happy Sunday all.

    There is a lot of music from back when that the oldies station would never play, so I doubt that in the future they will play Eminem.
