Francis has to obtain control over his emotions. People by-and-large despise being corrected. Rarely do you find a person who wishes to be corrected when wrong and learns from it. Egotism is the cause.

The misuse of the word “literally” makes me figuratively insane.

What about the misuse of the unnecessary word “got”?

Francis seems to have a pretty intensive purpose.

It is. Francis was merely illustrating how the phrase is mispronounced.

And in that vein, Francis should avoid reruns of “All In The Family/Archie Bunker’s Place,” and the comic strip “Crankshaft”.

I hate it when people say “I was like” when describing something they “said”. Please show me what dictionary lists “like” as a synonym for “said”? And I don’t give a sh!t about “that’s how people talk,” it doesn’t make it right.

I think it goes, “Nate lacks in quality, but he makes up in quantity.” But I’m not so sure.

It is. That’ why it’s a peeve.
