Aspiring cartoonist Nate Wright is the star of Big Nate, the daily and Sunday comic strip distributed by NEA since 1991. Nate is 11 years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth grade Renaissance Man. Nate, who lives with his dad and older sister, enjoys pestering his family and teachers with his sarcasm.

Wow, I can pry paint half of a C- Eiffel Tower, of whatever Nate painted. I’m a drawer with pencils, not a painter.

Everyone! I have a challenge for all you big Nate fans! All who want to, pick a character mentioned in the books or strips, (Not main characters,) and then we can make a website and post a drawing we’ve done of them! If anyone has a empty website, notify me!

AND you should see him “pouring every ounce of himself” and “everything he has” into OTHER subjects, like, you know: social studies…..math…..science. The result is often the same: asleep at his desk! Haw! HAW!!

@ Adam N – you can “pry” the lid off of a paint can but you “probably” can’t paint (or spell for that matter).
