Nate is 11 years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth grade Renaissance Man. Nates quite the dedicated student today taking notes with a quiet demeanour what’s got into him is he ill . I like the first panel with the evolution of Marty it makes me miss the good ol, days of nates sketchbook playing a big roll in the comic strip .

people will probably notice that Chads hair looks a different colour than usual . as best as i can tell its the same colour as in the daily’s but without the shading lines so it appears lighter . lots of the things in the Sundays aren’t shaded that normally would be eg nates top giving them a slightly different colour . i personally think that chads hair look better with the shading lines

@carl craig
Hey, you’re right, his hair is too light.

The cartoonist colours the Sunday strips so his colours are the proper ones.

Nate’s taking notes in the 3rd pannel because his friend is teaching him but if an actual teacher taught him then his notes would become comics and his comics would become ripped pieces.

@Feed Me Comics!
Evolution of Nate’s notes.
Notes——→comics——→ripped pieces
