Aspiring cartoonist Nate Wright is the star of Big Nate, the daily and Sunday comic strip distributed by NEA since 1991. Nate is 11 years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth grade Renaissance Man. Nate, who lives with his dad and older sister, enjoys pestering his family and teachers with his sarcasm.

I think it meant the doofus just beaned somebody (again!!) & realized after the damage is done that he should have yelled fore before, not after he hit the ball. This IS Nate’s dad…..doofus. Doofeyer. DOOFIEST!!!

I’m too lazy to look it up, but I believe he was the scumbag who would sentence children to this juvenile camp because he got a kickback from the camp for every child he sentenced there! They got their money from the federal government for every child they ‘cared’ for, so bribe the judge, get more slaves—er, ‘youth offenders in need of correction’—get more money.
