Some companies are getting REALLY bad about the fine print. The company I work for has a “You must have permission from your immediate supervisor to partake in a second job.” So basically if times get tight for me I have to go to boss lady tell her that the pay sucks and I need a second job…and she can tell me that “You need to manage your paycheck from us better” I’m sorry but once I clock out from a job, my time is MY time.
Nah, what they want to be sure of is that your second job doesn’t conflict with their company. That’s all. I work for a state agency. They know the pay sucks. They have no qualms with me taking a second job as long as it isn’t doing the same thing that I do for them. Hang in there. :)
same here. as long as the 2nd job is not a conflict of interest, no problem. . don’t need an app to know who is using which laptop and where. Companies should always track their equipment, and you sign in on your computer. With your passwords.
Hell, I got that crap from the place I was getting my B.S. (ironic, there). If I wanted to take a class at another place I had to clear it with the registrar. And that was many moons ago.
