Nice to know that the soft-porn market for women has finally grow out of the bodice-rippers.

I have heard so many BAD things about the book. One friend purchased it online, got less than halfway through, and demanded her money back. She said it was an insult to her intelligence. I’m sure the book was not meant to be intellectual… Regardless, it’s not on my reading list.

Not to defend this book, as it is very bad indeed, but a person that purchases a book, reads it halfway (evidence of that?) and DEMANDS their money back have no intelligence that could be insulted. You purchase a book, you keep it. You don’t like it, you sell it back, you give it, you throw it, but there shouldn’t be refunds.

Not to mention the fact that it wasn’t written as an intellectual research book, but a story about LOTS of “adult meetings”… soft-porn is speaking lightly from what I’ve heard about this book. ;-)

I remember in the UK about the 1960 a book called
lady Chatterley lover came out
it was said to be smutty that it had people lining up to buy it
the book 50 shades is said to be the same Are people lining up to buy it too The more complaints the better the sales

Unless you bought it from Amazone on Kindle.
Then you buy it, read it halfway through and Amazone delete all your books and when you try to get a reason why they will answer you with a “Meh! We’re God and we do as we please. – no money back.”
