Sargent draws a very unflattering GOP elephant. I love him for that :-)

If that was Mr. Cruz, he’d be bringing the “Kid” gasoline and matches !

Actually, Tigger, Sargent NAILED IT this time, as he has done so may times before!
Denying the truth isn’t going to change the fact that it is THE TRUTH!

I’m wondering how the Republicans/Fox “news” viewers on these boards feel about the funding for McConnell’s dam project. Not that it increases federal spending or anything.
    -
I’m guessing that the response will be very limited or none at all.
    -
After all, IT’S OKAY IF A REPUBLICAN DOES IT!

Sargent has been one of my favourite cartoonists for half a century. I remember when he drew a picture of the evolving Texas bank: an analogue clock atop a bank: ‘Of course we’ll loan you the money. We know you. You work hard and are a good farmer’; a digital clock atop the same bank: ’We’ll have to call Dallas about your loan’; and finally nothing but an ATM and a bewildered farmer.

Sargent: always drawing the great progress that has been Texas!

The kid represents the right wing anti revolution.

The wing-nuts really hate it when the ’toon hits unpleasantly close to home.

The Forbes 400 own as much wealth as the bottom 60%, up 20% from seven years ago. The American Gini coefficient will be the same as Mexico’s in a few years. If that is not “destroying America”, what is?

^Could be because most folks don’t actually see it your way.

“Yep, the TEA Party was elected to oppose Obama. What part of that don’t libs get?”
    -
I don’t get who is financing the TSE Party. Who has the most to gain from their existence?
    -
No response about McConnell’s dam? Another trap question?

Which America are we talking about? The right wing America or the left wing America? Which is the real America?

“Who has the most to gain from their existence?”
    .
The average tax payer, or the middle class that has suffered the most under this administration.
