Tired of "politically correct?" Want an editorial cartoon that is quick to call out the bumblings of U.S. politics and cuts slack to no one? Pulitzer-Prize winner Ben Sargent is paying attention and making Washington have second thoughts about that little thing called the First Amendment.

The free market producers of gasoline receive how much in ridiculous subsidies?
Stipple said, 3 months ago
@ODon
Zero subsidies.
Ridiculous depreciation on equipment maybe.
.
But then Americans have the lowest price gasoline in the free world, make that the first world as we are not all that free anymore.

General Electric paid less in income taxes last year than you did. And the year before…
And don’t forget those heartwarming commercials where the people who owed a quarter million in taxes, thanks to the help of these benevolent people, only ended up having to pay $25. Think of that when you pay your taxes. I submit that ehre are all kinds of “takers” in this world. Those who would believe that it’s only welfare cheats are intentionally ignorant.

Tax breaks, ability to drill on public land, and ridiculous ability to transfer losses so that they can pay virtually zero tax in a record-profit year. Not direct subsidies, perhaps…

Only the 1% is really happy to be getting rich off both parties.
the rest of the republicans are tricked into voting against their own self interests by faux and friends.
Except for the pro-lifers, who will move heaven and earth to protect the infant, right up till he is born. After each precious soul is born, they don’t give a rat’s ass about making sure the little tyke has enough to eat and a decent home to live in. then he become one of those labeled “Lazy bums on welfare”

GOP only cares about rich people.

Wouldn’t it be great to be one of the 1%? It’s a club few achieve and no one in it hates rich people.
Ms. Ima said, 3 months ago
@Radish
dems only care about themselves and spreading hate.

@ ahab & King of Me – great puns. Thank you for the laughs.
I’ve got nothing to add to the cartoon though, it’s already been said and ridiculed by those who disagree.
Respectfully,
C.

And if you keep sucking up to them and help rationalize away their crimes, someday they’ll invite you into their club.
NOT.
