   But what if the next president is someone like Joe McCarthy, Dick Cheney, or Paul Broun; who will relish the idea of extra-judicial killing of American citizens who they have judged to be commies, gestapo, or otherwise unsupportive of their policies? Obama I sort of trust to only kill people who are truly bad guys, because he’s a smart man. But there are a lot of people elected into power who do not live in an evidence-based world.

    Every decent, God-fearing (or atheist) Americans knows the Constitution must be suspended for the duration. Only after the US has unconditionally won the War on Terror may the President CONSIDER reinstating the Constitution, not before. And probably it cannot be reinstated even after the War on Terror has been won, but it must remain suspended for prophylactic reasons!

    I hate defending Obama but yes what he is doing with them is right on. If you are active in a combat zone against your country then you have emancipated yourself from the courts and the due process is a processcution of war

    Obama has been a LOT more selective with the use of drones, and our military, than Bush 41 or 43, and their crazy advisors Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Feith, Perle, Rice, Rove, et al. If 41 had done the job right, at all, the first time, we wouldn’t have invaded, either Iraq, or Afghanistan, because there wouldn’t have been a need.
