Tired of "politically correct?" Want an editorial cartoon that is quick to call out the bumblings of U.S. politics and cuts slack to no one? Pulitzer-Prize winner Ben Sargent is paying attention and making Washington have second thoughts about that little thing called the First Amendment.

Right did you listen to your own inauguration speech?

Well, at least the Republicans can be pretty well assured that they WILL meet their goal of making sure Obama is only a two term president…
Maybe Turtle-Boy can get THIS one right!

It’s called a learning-curve, and the President is now ahead of the eight-ball. I don’t know if this phrase exists in the U.S., but here in Germany we say “Hope dies last”. His hopes of cooperation and bipartisanship have died. Remember: he even went to the GOP headquarters, doing a non-teleprompter Q&A session, televised live. No president has ever done something like that before. And what did he get in return? Fred Lunz and his “Oppose everything, even if you proposed it yourself” strategy. Traitors!

The denial runs strong here. I saw Obama reach out many times. The Republicans even contributed ideas watering down the health care bill. Then they all voted against it, despite it being the conservative solution to health in the U.S. I’ve never seen a president go against such hostile, mindless opposition.

I guess you forgot that king george got everything he wanted from congress his first six years and then in the last two the vast majority of his vetos were overridden and that required not only the Democrat majority but also numerous republicans to make the 2/3 requried to override a presidential veto. So seems like many republicans were against baby bush too in the waning years. In the beginning if you disagreed with baby bush you were labelled “Unpatriotic.” A political death sentence at the time and king george played that trick to its full affect. So don’t come here spewing your lies that the Democrats exercised hostility toward boy-blunder. It wasn’t until it was proven that he was a liar and a terrible president that the masses turned against him.
As usual ZIT if full of pestilence and ignorance.

It’s that quivering, snarling, white-hot ball of tea-party viciousness. Like trolls, mad dogs can’t be reasoned with.

THIS is how Obama reached across the aisle:
“Republicans have to sit in the back of the bus”
