    We could generate a lot of free electricity if we attached some wires and magnets to Thomas Jefferson’s bones — surely he is spinning in his grave due to the way the lobbyists and radical rich have perverted our once beautiful system.

    If highwaymen stop a coach and demand a vote on the redistribution of wealth, it really doesn’t matter if there are five highwaymen and four passengers, or four highwaymen and five passengers, it’s still highway robbery.


    So our founding fathers tried to come up with a government that would reject almost everything, unless 2/3 of the voters could agree the proposed law was worthwhile. Which has happened only about 20 times.
