Tired of "politically correct?" Want an editorial cartoon that is quick to call out the bumblings of U.S. politics and cuts slack to no one? Pulitzer-Prize winner Ben Sargent is paying attention and making Washington have second thoughts about that little thing called the First Amendment.

Maybe we should give ’em back to Mexico, to get even!

Mexico wouldn’t want ‘em! We’re getting ready to have our own little Somalia there — only with more guns.

Small wonder they made Bush and Perry Governor.

The GOP noise machine is so loud, that no one even notices: no more education, no healthcare, no economy, and the middle class is silent, their future destroyed.

This cartoon is a lie.

“This cartoon is a lie.”
It’s not a lie that Texas ranks near the bottom of the nation in most metrics… education, literacy rate, insurance coverage, environment, et cetera.

We’ll see what happens, won’t we? If the Tea Partiers bring success, we won’t be hearing a peep about it from the lying libmedia.

Perhaps we can count on you to keep us informed of their successes?

Don’t mess with Texas! It’s a mess all by itself…

As a descendent of three of the families that came to Texas with Stephen Austin I used to be proud to be a Texan. There was a time when Texans practiced minding their own business, keeping their faith in practice by extending a helping hand to their less fortunate family and friends. Texans were known everywhere for their courtesy. Now I can only weep for the hatred and fear that disfigure my fair state. Honor is forgotten, name-calling replaces courtesy (see above comments) and factional hatred replaces a willingness to share. No longer proud and tough people but now crackers who prefer ignorance and substitute “belief” for knowledge.

actually, all you have to do is go there and find out why they call it “a whole ’nother country…”. i’d hate to have to defend their wish to be part of this one. heh. mexicans all consider california & texas to genuinely belong to mexico anyway. i say Let ’em Have ’em Both.
