It’s a lot easier to understand if you actually attend the games, and see all the little abuse players can dish if they want to get under someone’s skin.

I decided a long time ago if I was going to watch sports at all, I could just watch Hockey and all the rest were taken care of from wrestling to ping pong. So I watched the commercials in the super bowl. and while waiting watched some wrestling and boxing.

It is hard to guess at people’s ages by the fact that they are grandparents. I am in my mid 50’s and my first (and only) child is just 12 years old, which means I should be in my 70’s when I will become a grandfather. However, some people I graduated with whom I graduated high school were grand parents in their mid to late 30’s.
In Olivia’s case, being in her 60’s would be just about right if she is younger than Ben. After all, he is retired but seems not to be retired military. He has been retired long enough to be underfoot for his wife without her wanting toi kill him for being underfoot. Also, he is physically fit enough to be living at home without the need for heavy medical care, which means he is probably early 70’s at the most.

And I had my first grandchild at 39, while Steve Martin is said to be awaiting the birth of his first child at 69. Life’s funny like that. But I’m surprised no one’s used the old Rodney Dangerfield line “I went to a fight one night and a hockey game broke out!”
