Heels combined with a miniskirt are a good thing…

You probably paid for them, Ben but that’s not a wise decision. Anyway, they’ll probably get caught in the first grating Olivia encounters.

I’m a tall female, and I used to work with a tall Chinese-American guy (he was probably 3 inches taller than I am). One day I wore heels and he lectured me how I shouldn’t wear heels because it makes my husband feel like less of a man. I told him that my husband is already shorter than I am, and he is fine with how tall I am (with or without heels). He wasn’t convinced and every time I wore heels, he would glare at me and stand up straighter so that he could be taller than I was.
I’m sure it was his traditional Chinese upbringing, but it was ridiculous. I’ve dated guys who were not fine with my height, even though there’s nothing I can do about it!

My hubby loves it when I put on heels. Then again, he’s 12" taller than me anyway.

I wish I could wear heels but even so I’d never be taller than my better half. I’m only 5 feet tall, he’s not a tall man but he is compared to me.

Much better if she has nice, trim ankles…

Anybody ever try to walk in high heels? It’s hard!

She will just buy another pair of shoes so no need to cut the heels off.

Ha Ha, read an article just yesterday about high heel shoes.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-21151350
High heels were originally worn by Persian cavalry and in the 1600’s, “Persian style shoes were enthusiastically adopted by (European) aristocrats, who sought to give their appearance a virile, masculine edge that, it suddenly seemed, only heeled shoes could supply.”
When women started wearing them in the 1730’s, men stopped wearing them.

But, they’re bad for her toes and can cause bunions. That’s what the real problem is.

Not so good for the ball of the foot either. The weight has been shifted forward. They make supports for the heels and arches but not for the front half of the foot where it’s needed most when wearing high heels.

If she is willing to ruin her posture and her feet and ankles then more power to her stupidity.

Except Olivia’s a bit old for a miniskirt.
