It’s a tool. Put it with the other tools and figure it out later. Otherwise, you’ll be there the whole week trying to figure it out and you’ll get nothing done…….or is that the point?

my husband just cleaned out his workshop in November, first time it has been clean in probably 10 years. It looks good but I always wonder how long it will last.

I swear to goodness indid this ONCE in over 40 years. Once I felt so good , it lasted that way for about 3 weeks. I have tools that belonged to my Grandfather.

We share a workshop. I’m a woodturner, and he’s a carpenter/cabinetmaker. We spend a lot of happy time in the shop together. It is NEVER organized LOL.

I don’t have this problem because I rarely use the tools.

just put the things with cords at one end of the table. Things with no moving parts at the other end. And everything else in the middle. Middle is the biggest pile. Start there. Pick something and see what it does and if it belongs in one of the other piles. Note to Ben…. you can make a pile for each tool.
