Sadly I never get taken care of by others when sick. I am always the one taking care of everyone.lol.

The worst thing about being sick is having someone hanging around asking how I feel, disturbing me to ask if they can do something when I want to sleep. I can get what I need.

you must be a mom……..it is written on page 1 paragraph 2 in the Mom handbook, you are never allowed to be sick in case someone needs something that only you can provide.

I guess that’s what us moms signed up for. I was taking care of the household and everyone else days after having a baby. The only rest I got was in the hospital, when the nurses weren’t waking me up to check my vitals.

The one time that I couldn’t function when sick (very rare!), my kids were sweet enough to bring me things and tried to take care of me. ♥

I used to say that I would get a job in business, so that if I were ever sick, I could call up, and tell them I wasn’t coming in. Then I would go to bed and stay there until I felt better.

That only works if you don’t live alone.
