I cut what’s left of my hair like this. Set the guard to 2, stand in the shower so as not to make a mess, and have at it.

Arthur’s ill advised use of stud combs has put him at a disadvantage.
Arthur begins to wonder if he was fleeced at the Top Gun Shearer school. But then Arthur and Adelaide Shearer have always been quite competitive.

…this makes absolutely no sense…i don’t think it’s wise to let those folks play with electric clippers.

    Oh my!

    Well…. I guess I wasn’t “about to” break in, X ….
    cos I’m so late tonight.
But you were quite right in thinking I’d have something to say!

Extension cords in the damp grass!
Hair clippers in the hands of the untrained!
(And that so-called “degree” from the Top Gun Shearer School is about as….um… faux … as the faux sheepskin it’s printed on.)

As a licensed cosmetologist — not to mention dog groomer, and animal handler…. AND an XTI certified Glitterologist (almost Level FIVE!)…

I implore the Schearers to leave the clipping to trained professionals, and enjoy a Whimsical Wednesday instead….
and save the sheepskins for Fleecy Friday.

Brian – I hope you’re using the tub cos it’s easier to sweep or brush up the hair that way,
and not cos you’re letting it all just wash down the drain.

Even short clippings can get trapped by soap residue and other things stuck to the inside of pipes,
and eventually create an awful blockage.

Hair eventually ruins both plumbing and vacuum cleaners… much better to put it in the garbage.

On carpet, the best way to gather it up is with a comb. Works better than a broom and can’t clog and burn like a vacuum cleaner motor.

My thanks go out to everybody for all the birthday wishes. It was a nice steady ordinary day (my favourite kind) with a take-away meal. Not the one we ordered and half an hour late but it was interesting.
    .
@Number Six: everybody said it was your b’day, so I just went along with it.

Better electric clippers than hand shears!
