Nice that Pickles has an appreciative home…. he’d be quite unpopular in certain circles.
Especially amongst forward-thinking fish.

Was the comic late? These are the fewest comments on Ballard Street I can remember.

I think after two days of Mad Troll disease running rampant across the various comment pages, people are hopefully taking a day of two to recover their sense of balance. One can only hope that this virulent affliction has run it’s course and everyone has built up an immunity to it.

AHOY BALLARDEERS ! The ole Capt. is heading home and will be pulling into Ballard Cove this evening – fair warning !
Better warn Monkey and Susan to have plenty of vittles on hand – I’m especially craving some yak ribs, banana bread, and snickerdoodles. Also tell Fenton to have plenty of Guinness Stout and Redbreast Irish whiskey on hand… I’m sure that between Red and myself we can do justice to the both.
See ya’ll later and when I get to the Tiki, drinks are on me !

Good to hear you’ll be back, but I’ll stick to my cinnamon/apple tea. I’ve decided to restrain from all the gin and margharitas for the rest of the year. THAT part of my diet is not even difficult. I DO miss the organic dark chocolate, tho’. But I seldom indulged in other sweets.

I had a goldfish that lived six years. I named him Nathan Scales. He started out as a little feeder in a fishbowl. I moved him to an aquarium and he grew and grew. When he died I didn’t know whether to flush him or filet him, he was so big.
I dropped him in the river, to spend eternity with the other fishies.
