Lou either has the best ear protection I’ve ever seen…
er… heard of? …
and it’s completely invisible, unlike Cleo’s…
or, he’s been in the shooting range business far too long, and he’s totally deaf.
I guess Cleo’s counting on the latter,
or on his paying so little attention….
so he never noticed who came in with a bazooka.
She assumes he doesn’t know whom to bill for the $37, 394 in uninsured repairs,
or else who drove his future insurance premiums up 472%.
Dennis, I answered you yesterday….
and a bit to Nighthawks and JP Steve, on Rotifer’s comment.
Trying to figure out this “bell” thingy… dunno whether it notifies you of replies to your replies.
I do know it only shows a portion anyway, and some are old, while it skips later ones.
As for the Ballard St strip above…..
Ha!
We just had this one (with stunning new color!) about a week ago….
With frugality in mind, I went back and retrieved my comment from there (with slight editing):
I was thinking that Garry should just be glad Dizzy’s having a good time….
But the downside is… well, there are two things…..
One, Dizzy promised to clean up his mess…
but “clean” to a dog leaves a lot to be desired to a human.
And, two, Garry buys wrapped paper straws, which have become rather pricey.
He’s now spending more on those than on dog food…
a whole package a night!
Both his problems could be partially alleviated by going to the dollar store, and buying a bag of 200 unwrapped plastic straws for $1.
They’re way cheaper, there’s no damp paper wrapper mess…
and the plastic ones are easier to pick up.
But I think what Dizzy really enjoys is those wrappers…. so maybe it wouldn’t work.
