    I think today’s strip is supposed to make us wonder whether he’s running TO or running FROM, but my bet is TO. Running away would make him unlikeable.
    

    
    As far as we know, Cruz has never seen Rayna in person. This is a good way to set up his first face-to-face (or at least ours).
