Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

If you have gause & cotton balls (along with alcohol or disinfectant), that’d make an excellent make-shift bandage until you buy more at the store.

No first aid kit is complete without this…
Super Glue works well on small cuts too!

I always make sure, that I have bandaids at home. Not because I cut myself more often than the next person, but because I have psoriasis. My skin easily becomes too dry, and then I get these painful chaps, especially on my fingers. Ugh… But anyway, Gracie is still so little, that it was really irresponsible of Sergio to not have bandaids at home.

Yes he as an adult must keep track of that. Though I have mine just in the bathroom. No kit. And that kit should be more for emergencies anyway.

MadCow is right! My brother in law uses duct tape for cuts. It’s the only stuff that won’t fall off.

Tape will work, but don’t run out of the disinfectant. That cut can morph into an infection.

One of my twin grandsons said his pa pa always said you are okay, but I always said I’ll get a bandaid. He liked that better!
