Man: I broke another windshield. Baldo: Dang! Hasn't this happened before? Man: Actually, I've lost four windshields and three windows in the past 6 months. Any advice? Baldo: Sure. Turn down the bass.
I had a windshield replaced after a rock strike started a crack that went all the way across, and on the way home a dump truck kicked up a chip of gravel and the windshield had a crack all the way across the next morning. A third and fourth followed before the end of the month. This happened the month after my insurance company had talked me into spending less than a buck per six months more to take my comprehensive from $250 to zero. Just had a run of bad luck and a lot of salt on the road after a major ice storm.
