    Bob Costas is one of the best commentators is pro sports. His comments re: guns and the dangers they pose to our society were well-reasoned and articulated. If anyone has a problem with him or his reasoning, they’d best take a careful look at themselves and ask, “Why are guns so important to me, and why does anyone’s feelings against guns so threaten me?” Give it a try, Possum Pete.

    Because rights are rights and taking away rights is wrong. 45% of Americans own guns, yet 45% of Americans are not out there killing people. Should we take knives away because people are stabbed? Ban rope because people hang themselves? Where would you like to end the destruction of rights? When it starts to affect you personally?
