I’ glad Romney thrashed him left, right and center during the debate.. Good for him.. :)

It was a win, but it was hardly a KO.
Obama will have to ramp up his game, but he’s still in it, rest assured. And let’s be blunt, Romney came off more than a little creepy, esp. in the reaction shots.

I kinda thought e came off as arrogant, a bully, and had no
specifics…just the same old run-around

Didn’t watch it, didn’t listen to the sound bites except as played during NPR shows but robme has no specifics and what was reported in the newpaper showed he also told little truth. And the fact checkers at politifact that I read were deperately trying to substantiate robme’s claims, but depsite their best efforts, anyone who thinks for themselves could see the fallacy in their arguments to support robme.
.
If there were any thinking people left in this country robme wouldn’t have a chance. Then again he wouldn’t be the republican’s candidate either and President Obama might face a worthy (for this country) opponent. But instead we have a lightweight president. obstructed by self-interested for-the-rich-donors-and-special-interests republicans facing off against a slick talking corporate raider who has people snowed that because he made millions screwing people he’s a good business man and should be elected to run the coutry for his rich frends, allies and cohorts. Wonder how long it would be before you called any governmental office and got a person with a thick Indian accent or government boxes start having that heavy yellow hue of chinese cardboard. Hey, the republicans think that “privatizing” is the way to go. To hell with the money actually going to the people. Shave 10% off the total cost by cutting the workers’ wages 40% and giving some well connected schmuck “boss” 3/4 of that. But privatizing saved money. Yeah right. Take away from the worker, give to the oligarchy, the republican way.

ON the “emotional level”, Mitt seems indeed to have “won”. What bothered me was that he came off like Rick Perry, with fewer truths. I kept waiting for him to offer a bet.
I too felt Obama seemed “off”, and distracted, as well as attempting to appear less nuts than Mitt. I wonder if events he might have known, that Mitt didn’t, about what was going on between Syria and Turkey, had him concerned?

Mr. Romney, you have stated you were 100% wrong on your comments about the 47%. Were you lying then, or are you lying now?
-
“Then. I was lying then. And so were all my supporters who said I should defend my position and own it.
“Now I’m telling the truth, absolutely. I truly care about all those people and so do all my supporters, especially those in the Tea Party. Really.”

Turns out Romney cheated – he violated the terms of the debate by sneaking notes onto his podium. Showed his tru colors – yellow.
Larry said, 8 months ago
Romney did have notes. Was that a violation?
Some are suggest Obama was not used to Denver’s altitude.
Interesting times.

“Thrashed?” Obama put his arms down and let Romney hit him like the script said. The one both of them worked on. That includes all questions and the moderator. All decided upon by both parties working together.

Remember, you are not permitted to vote for president, that is reserved for a few hundred elite. All presidential votes are wasted (except in a diluted manner in designated “swing states”). Concentrate on Congressional, state, and local races where you actually do have a vote. For president, protest vote for Jill Stein and the Greens who do want you to have a real vote for president.
