It may not be humane, but it is feline.

I wish I had Arlo’s advice before my first marriage

I wouldn’t mind it so much if they didn’t bring the chipmunks into the house to chase them around….Fun for the cat’s, but bad for anything standing upright…..And chipmunks don’t break as quickly as mice…..

That’s just like my barn cat. After a few dozen releases the chipmunk’s rear legs no longer worked, than it lost its head.

    Love to eat them mousies.
Mousies what I love to eat.
I bite their tiny heads off,
And nibble on their tiny feet.

Ya gotta git the grammer rite:
    “Love to eat them mousies…
mousies what I love to eat!
    Bite they little heads off,
    nibble on they tiny feet!”

I always heard “Love to eat dem mousies” in my mind sung in a delta blues way; I don’t know about anybody else.

Me, too. I have an apron with the Kliban cartoon on it, and when I wear it to work in my local soup kitchen, I always sing the song bluesily to the other workers. So far, no one has asked me to stop.

Again, I’m appealing to the fantastic Arlo and Janis analysts to explain the Mother Goose & Grimm strip today:

Why would Gatorade melt the coach?

BTW, I should think that Luddie’s ears would be laid back, after his plaything was taken away!

@Gokie5- water melts a witch. Like in Wizard of Oz.
