    Which is one reason there is so much drek on TV. All those channels have to fill the time with something. When there were only three networks and local stations, less programming was required.

    Though some drek still got on.

    The line between fantasy and reality is blurred with Ancient Aliens, 10 things You Didn’t Know, and all of Faux News.

    And these people are so out of ideas for new programming that they are rebooting classic TV shows. CBS has announced that they want to reboot Bewitched and the Brady Bunch.
    They have successfully rebooted their own Hawaii Five-0, although there are a few things that I would like to change to make it more like the original.

    I could only imagine CBS rebooting All in the Family! Archie Bunker got away with things in the 1970s that he couldn’t get away with today. In “We’re Having a Heat Wave,” Archie dropped the “G/D bomb.” That oath would be bleeped out today. Many of his ethnic slurs wouldn’t be acceptable today, either.

    We had three “Topsy Turvy” dish channels at the same time this spring. We pay for so many channels to allow people to try and sell us things we don’t need or want……………..

    I watched an old Mr. Ed episode the other day. I turned it off about half-way through.

    Dump the TV in the trash. Live your own life, don’t watch others live their fake lives.

    @BRI-NO-MITE!!

    Just 3 channels? I hate when something happens and every other channel has it on. If I want to watch it, I’m sure I can find it.

    Yes, I used to LOVE Maverick with James Garner, now I can’t watch it. Same with a lot of other old shows, but “I Love Lucy” is still a keeper! Absoultely!
